Age Range : Adults and children ages 8 and older only. There is a maximum of 2 children ages 8 to 15 per adult in a party, and they must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian 18 years or older during the entire Flightline experience.
Guests ages 16 to 17 may participate alone, but must have a parent or guardian 18 years or older present at the check-in to sign the liability waiver. All Flightline participants must complete a liability waiver, and understand and follow instructions in English, to participate in Flightline Safari. Weight : Participants must weigh between 60 and pounds, and fit comfortably in the harness.
Other Considerations : No alcohol may be consumed by a participant prior to taking a Flightline Safari. Additional Considerations: Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs without assistance. The ride itself provides a behind-the-scenes tour of the 1, acre park while the staff point out elephants, condors, succulent gardens and more, emphasizing the remarkable conservation progress made by the San Diego Zoo. Standing on the ledge overlooking the vast landscape below, my fear of heights began to bubble up.
Chelsey led me to the edge, hooked my harness into the cable trolley, and reminded me, once again, not to scream. After about two seconds of fear overtaking all common sense, I relaxed a bit in the hammock-like contraption. It was beautiful, serene, peaceful even.
Below, I could see grazing antelope and even a few rhinos, although most of them blended in with the rocks. I focused on taking it all in, as the wind whipped past my face.
The entire experience, from start to finish, takes about an hour. The Flightline Safari is available for ages eight-and-up and between 60 and pounds. You can fly up to four at a time, which would make for a memorable family experience. Do you have a dare for me? I highly recommend this experience!
Took 4 teenage boys and hey had a ball. The staff was very helpful and took great care of them. The 3 ziplines last about an hour and it is so worth the money.
I recommend this highly! The staff here is excellent staff. The staff is very patient, knowledgeable, and so much fun. The scenery is beautiful and it was nice to get out of the quarantine rut!
